Change

It was a nice evening spent with my friend who just got happy. yeah, he just got happy because he got the job finally. He was sharing some of his hard time he faced for couple of months. He witnessed the changing trends in various industry!

Ok so this guy is thirty years of age and is married for two years now. He planned to start a venture and failed with huge loss of money. He was broke and was in desperate need of some work. He was certain that he would get a job because he already had almost six years on experience in his domain. He started he hunting and lord he is out-dated now! in just a span of 2 years.. everything is changed since he left his job!

He told me about his notices.

General interview questions:

1. How much total experience: 5 years.. oh! you are over experienced! Is it not change in trend that few years back you are happy to gain experience as you are growing but now industry need new blood, fresh out guys with low salaries.

2. Are you married: Yes, then how would you give time to your family if you work here. We preffer single guys. Again, previously it was a good charm to be married as you be considered as a responsible and a stable individual but now Married is big no! unless you get married while working. lol

3. You have stability issue: the gap between two jobs is for the higher studies! it cant be a stability issue. come on! Do we have age defined for studies? no right! then!

4. Are you ready to sign a bond: Yes. But is it not that Indian labour cant be put in any bond. Its a debatable topic.

well what ever he gave his best shot after 3 months of his job hunting and 10 interviews. He put all the crux of all the interviews and finally cracked it and not just cracked he broke it hard. He is now on upper middle level of management. Congrats to him! and sad to see trend’s is changing so fast. thought it just happened in Bollywood. Smile.

Coffee was nice in a good old rains of Pune. Was completely drenched while going to see him.
